Review you answer to Topic 1 Week 1. Keeping in mind your purpose in analyzing your firm, identify four or five financial ratios that you think are most important. Calculate the ratios for your firm for the last three years. Compare them to your firm’s closest competitor. Is your firm doing better or worse over time? Is your firm doing better or worse than its closest competitor?
Do a Dupont analysis of your firm. Compare your firm to its closest competitor. What strengths or weaknesses does your comparison reveal?
