Project description
Using Excel or a similar application, create a task list for a WBS for building a back yard deck. Use
subheading for all the phases of a project and list as many tasks with details as you can. The WBS steps
include drawing a diagram, purchasing materials at a home improvement store, etc. All phases should be
considered. Testing is as simple as walking on it looking for loose boards and missing screws.
Implementation is putting the grill and furniture on it and having a party. The list could get well over 50
tasks, put in as many as you can think of along with dates and duration and processors. A task list that
is needed like the attached screen, with start, stop date, time in hours, predecessor (described as line
number), and resource name assigned to complete the task.
