Thin Air by Jon Krakauer Written by a renowned writer, Jon Krakauer, In To The Air was one of the best selling non-fiction books in the year 1997 when it was published. It’s a part of his personal account about how he decided to take part in the 1996 mount Everest expedition, even after giving up mountain climbing years before. Although the expedition claimed more than eight lives among them climbers and journalists, the event of the climb generated a lot of spark as described in the book. Jon’s book also got a lot of air play staggering from controversies and finally into a movie.
