In the article “School Data Finds Pattern of Inequality Along Racial Lines,” Motoko Rich demonstrates that students of color are affected by the inequality in educational opportunities in all American public schools. According to the data, African American and Latino students are more likely than White students to be suspended and expelled from school, to have minimal access to advanced math and science courses, and to be educated by inadequate teachers who lack experience.
