Written Response 3: Cirk la Putkya-Slapstick Sonata

Visual poetry meets physical comedy meets contemporary circus with Prague’s physical theater company, Cirk La Putyka.  Slapstick Sonata tells the story of an overnight crew of warehouse workers who are more than they seem, with a multi-talented cast of dancers, actors, acrobats, mimes, and physical comedians. Your written response requires a critical assessment of the show which means that you need to engage with it and critique it (whether positively or negatively.) You need to consider it as we have been considering the creative arts throughout all our discussions and presentations in class this semester. The response must be a minimum of 500 words.
