Who is Carl Sagan

Paper instructions:
5.    Begin to write the introduction.  You need to keep the AUDIENCE (your reader) in mind here.  Think about what your reader needs to know in order to understand what you are going to say in your paper.  For example:
a.    Who is Carl Sagan?  Briefly introduce him
b.    Introduce the book and the TV series and give some facts about them
c.    Get to the part of the book or idea you will be talking about in your paper; interest the reader.  What made you choose this part or idea to focus on?
6.    WRITE THE THESIS:  This is the topic, subtopics, and reason you are writing the paper.
a.    Example:  THESIS:How did Sagan manage to make difficult scientific topics not only understandable but fascinating?? THE PAPER’S TOPIC In Chapter One, we can see his writing style, his effort to communicate with people who have little scientific background, and his belief in us as intelligent, capable readers.  ? The points you will make in the body paragraphs.  His methods are used for a reason, but are they effective? ?The reason you are writing; your destination.
IN THE BODY OF THE PAPER:
You need about three topics to develop in paragraphs.
Write topic sentences for these paragraphs so you know what to say in the paragraph.
Find spots in the book you can use to develop your paragraph to support your paragraph topic.
