Description My subject is about Chinese workers, men and women, in America 1800-1900. The reasons they made their journey to the west, i.e. the need for labor to earn money, opportunity to start life anew, have a family etc. Write about their journey, and details about their hardship in California working for the railroad and during the gold rush. Also compare them with other race, i.e. Europeans. With 3 real accounts of Chinese workers, about their time in America. Will need a thesis at the end of first paragraph and minimum of 10 citations.
