What properties of light are used in a periscope?

it is REFLECTION OF LIGHT we use in a periscope.

u see in a simple periscope we generally use two mirrors inside it .first mirror is on the top of periscope and second mirror is on the bottom , first mirror redirects or reflects the light to second mirror and than 2nd mirror redirects or reflects the lights to our eyes.thus reflection properties is used in a periscope.
