6-According to Shinto mythology, how did the kami create the material world?
7-As I read that portion of the textbook, I thought that like the kami, I too would live in these scenic places! It seems to me that people feel more spiritual when they overlook a mountain, or when they are walking on a beach. Why is that such a common human emotion? Stated another way, why do people feel more spiritual when they are in a scenic area?
8-How do you think Hirohito’s declaration that he was not a god affected Japanese society?
