You should consider your project for this class in this discussion. First, from what you read so far in your research paper, what seems “shocking”, something that you did not know or something you think would impact you if you visited the country of your project. Second, describe/explain why the understanding of culture shock is important. Key concepts that you may find valuable: Holism, cultural relativism, cultural difference, culture shock, biculturalism, reentry shock, concept of culture. listed is three videos to help with the question, also a powerpoint on culture shock and the research paper to help answer the question.
