- The Islamic author of the Tale of Buluqiya would have been monotheistic. What effects did the author’s monotheism have on the shape of Buluqiya’s story (whether in relationship to Gilgamesh’s story in the Epic of Gilgamesh or in other ways)?
- Why do you think that certain story elements or even seemingly small details from the Epic of Gilgamesh were preserved for over two thousand years until they wound up in the Tale of Buluqiya?
