• This essay draft should be MLA-formatted (as per what you’ve learned in class). You should have an introduction (that will begin with your “childhood dream”) and several “inside paragraphs.”

The Reading Response Journal will consist of 1000 word (maximum) informal responses to each of the current week’s readings.  There is no specific prompt for the journal. It is also not a writing exercise that asks you to summarize the reading. Think of it as a space in which you reflect upon and think through what you’ve read–as a space in which you write about the questions, ideas, concerns, etc. raised for you in your reading of the text.
