Life after Work Retirement is where one enjoys the fruits of a long service and labor with a relaxed atmosphere away from the usual work routine. This was not so common until post war season 30 years ago and most people have not coped up with the idea. The ethos in most people has been where they have worked till they drop, and do not let go their self importance. They have refused to accept the fact that they have to leave their daily schedules to start a new life of pure pleasure and enjoyment. Culture has taught them that people must work till they can’t work anymore (Brown, para.3). The golden age retirees of the post war era brought about retirement which has not been widely accepted by most persons.
