Optimal control of a driveline clutch for jerk minimization during gear shifts. 10-15 pages double space
Description: Closed loop control of a driveline clutch during gear shifts. The objectives are as follows:
– derive the plant model for an automatic transmission system
– design a state space controller with state feedback based on the performance objectiveof minimizing the peak shift jerk.
– study the stability of the closed loop system
– build a SIMULINK model of the plant and the controller
– simulate you controller performance for both open loop and closed loop system
– discuss the results obtained from simulation
