This unit provides.
students with an historical and contemporary ov erview of Australian Indigenous Literature. The unit contextualises the place of literature
in Indigenous culture posing interesting questions and points of view in relation to links to Country, diversity of Indigenous society and
writings used to conv ey opinions and exp erience s. The unit will also examine the growth in the participation of Indigenous authors and their
mediums.
