The supplemental report is independent of the incident report. It contains the information obtained by others at the scene and their observations. The supplemental report is included with the incident report because the primary officer will make reference to the information in the supplemental report as needed. The supplemental report is its own document and acts as an addendum to the incident report. This assignment supports your final project because you will need to make sure to include the supplemental information that you receive. Scenario: You are a secondary officer assigned to a call. You will use the same scenario from Milestone One for practice. The primary officer is completing the original report and has asked you to take witness statements and complete the supplemental report section of the incident report, which details the information you have learned. Using the two written witness statements provided, compose a supplemental report that identifies your role and the relevant information that you received from witnesses.
