Look at the details for United States v. Drayton (attached). Provide your opinions on whether you think a reasonable person would come to the conclusion that he/she would be free to refuse to cooperate.
Do you think that the officers at the front and the back of the bus could have given the perception to those questioned that they were not free to leave?
Do you think the Court’s decision would have been different if the officer questioning passengers had stood in the aisle, effectively becoming a physical barrier preventing individuals to leave?
