IDENTIFY ONE NATURAL RESOURCE THAT YOU BELIEVE IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO PROTECT BETTER THAN WE HAVE. DISCUSS WHY THIS RESOURCE IS IMPORTANT. THEN, EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK
IT HAS NOT BEEN ADEQUATELY PROTECTED AND WHAT MIGHT BE DONE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

Your natural resource could be clean air, water, forests, wilderness, animal habitat or populations, tar sands, oil fields. or any other material or area that is
potentially useful to humans. But it could write about human in nature; for instance, you could write about human creativity or an individual workforce as a natural
resource.
There are several aspects of this question. First, you need to pick ONE resource and explain why it is so important. You may want to think about why it is important to
us and why it may be important to future generations. Then, think about what we’re currently done about protecting this resource. Remember that this is not a research
paper, so you should us your current knowledge of the world to answer this portion. Has our protection of the resource been adequate? Why or Why not? How much do
people care about it? How might they be made more aware of any problems?
