Why does Sin 30 degrees = sin 150 degrees?

Sin 0 = 0 Sin 30 = .5 Sin 90 = 1

Now sin 150 has to equal .5 because

30 is 60 away from 90 and in the other direction it would be 90+60 = 150 [Source: Yahoo answers]

Hope this helps;)
