I’m trying to study for my Social Science course and I need some help to understand this question.

Both techniques (ELISA and PCR) are extremely relevant during the current pandemic! One is being used as a primary detection test for the novel coronavirus. Which one? In your reflection, discuss the use and importance of both techniques in the current coronavirus epidemics.(500 words)
