______________
A hypothesis is either a proposed explanation for a perceptible phenomenon or a reasoned prognosis of a likely causal association among multiple phenomena. Now a theory is composed to explain, anticipate and understand the phenomena. It is a set of tested, unifying, validated explanation for corroborated and proved factors.
Both hypothesis and theory are of grave important in any scientific research. In hypothesis, researchers speculate relation between variables in an experiment involving more than just a guess. Hypothesis usually starts with a question and then it is further investigated through inconspicuous research. This is the moment when researchers can give validation to their hypothesis. Now the theoretical framework of any research is the formation that holds or supports it. Theory provides factors for conjectures and is solidified as more evidence is acquired. It is always speculative but has a tendency to generate new research.

______________
The two words hypothesis and theory are words of great use in research and they tend to pose a challenge in defining their difference. A hypothesis is simply a supposition made before any research has been finalized for the sake of testing while a theory is a mainly a principle that has been set to elucidate phenomena already supported by data. In research, a hypothesis is developed to explain annotations while a theory is set to clarify a hypothesis that has passed a sequence of tests.
In scientific research both theories and hypotheses are key features. In scientific research, a theory helps design a research question and guides the researcher on the selection of relevant data. Then the hypothesis is then proposed to explain the facts developed from the theory.
