1/ Answer all the questions below after reading the attached files and chapter 7 in the textbook (500 words).

• Due to the extensive nature of trauma due to natural disasters (truly, no pun intended!), using the concepts explored in the introduction, textbook, and articles, how could we best help those affected by natural disasters, as you learned about in the “Apply” section of our readings?
• Keep in mind, that when an entire community is devastated, the majority of each individual’s social supports are gone. Added to that, tangible resources are limited, and often there are delays in recovery efforts due to issues of accountability and responsibility between local, state, and federal agencies.
• Because of all of this, cognitive interventions could be more challenging to integrate, as it affects so many…can you think of community-level efforts that might help that would be cognitively based?
