Engineering Ethics Paper (Philosophy – Utilitarianism)

Write a five page (12 point font, double spaced) case analysis paper.

This paper has three parts:

1) Select and explain an engineering disaster (the Concorde Disaster – Air France Flight 4590).

2) Select and explain a style of ethics (Utilitarianism). You must utilize the required reading (attached) in your explanation. Make sure to compare and contrast Mill’s and Benthams versions of Utilitarianism. You can use internet research for this part, but be sure to cite.

3) Employ Utilitarianism to analyze the case. This analysis should be the main part of your paper.
