Final paper for projects

Your final paper will cover your research projects. Use times new roman size 12 font, double spaced. The body of the paper should be no less than 5 full pages but no more than 6. The paper should include a title page, thesis, and references, none of which will be considered part of the 5 to 6 pages. You should also include some graphical visualizations of your data substantiating your intro and/or model section as well as a table of your results from your regression equation, however these should be in an appendix at the end of the paper and will not count towards the number of pages. (Points will be deducted for unoriginal graphical representations or ones made with some program other than R) The format should be as follows: Intro: Explain your research question. Why it is important to you or your audience. Model: Go over each of your important independent variables. Explain the relationship they have with the dependent variable and whether you believe they have a positive relationship or negative relationship and why. Your model should include every available variable that would have a logical impact on your dependent variable. If there are any obvious variables left out, you should be able to explain why you left it out. Results: Display the results of your regression in a professional manner. (Screen shots of the R printout would not be considered professional). The results should be shown in an easy to read format and interpreted in a way that the typical business professional without experience in statistics could understand. Conclusion: Explain how your results can be used. What decisions could be made from your results and what other research could be done as a next step. The rubric is as follows (0 – 35): Readability (0-3): Easy to read, with appropriate spelling grammar and punctuation. Visualization (0-4): Professional easy to understand visuals done in R Results (0-4): Table of results included in a professional easy to read way (can use a program other than R to create table of results) Introduction (0-7): Research was explained well and clearly. Importance of the research is clear. Model (0-7): Model is explained well. Important variable(s) discussed and relationship theories explained. Contains all pertinent variables or a good explanation is provided why a variable was left out. Results (0-7): Results are correctly explained and interpreted in a way that a non-statistically minded individual could understand. Conclusion (0-3): Provides a good use of the research and/or next research steps. Preferred language style US English
