Coral reefs are useful to the environment and people in numerous ways, but they are being destroyed.  Many scientists believe that one of the main causes of reef

decline is the warming of the oceans.  Some NOAA scientists think that all coral reefs could be completely destroyed within 50 years. What are the likely causes of

reef decline? What do you think would be the implications for this dire prediction?  Other scientists believe that coral reefs could adapt to changing conditions or

expand their range into cooler waters as water temperatures rose.  What do you think? (You may need to do a little research regarding coral reefs in order to answer

these following questions).

Second discussion I need you to reply to the following:
The coral reef is in danger of extinction,one reason for this being is because of the cause of global warming. Which is causing a negative affect on the reef, and

because of the high temperatures it is causing the coral reef to fade its color and nutrients that is causing a threat to the mass number of sea creatures that call

the coral reef its home. I do believe it is not to late to do something to save it, one way we can save it is by starting on removing, picking up, and even planting

trees which is natures home made filters as you can say. In addition, im on unsure if the coral could adapt or not, but im leaning towards it could but the answer is

uncertain to me.
