I’m trying to study for my Communications course and I need some help to understand this question.

This discussion is about the impact of a self-fulfilling prophecy (see page 76 in textbook). Let us get to know one another more by continuing to learn about the other students in this course. Instructions

• What is the connection between the phenomenon of the self-fulfilling prophecy and your success or disappointment in performing a challenging task? Share with your classmates one incident in which the self-fulfilling prophecy you have imposed on yourself has affected your communication.
• Explain how this prediction shaped your behavior, and describe how you might have behaved differently if you had made a different prediction. If the self-fulfilling prophecy has the potential to be so powerful, why don’t we use it to our advantage more often?
