History of sexual ethics: Religion, Science and Sexual Revolution
Paper Your research paper should be 10 p. min., double space. Proper documentation of sources is essential. The structure and organization of ideas should be well crafted. A standard research paper should include a title, the course name and professor’s name. It should consist of introduction, the main body and conclusion. You should use footnotes for cited works and a bibliography at the bottom of the document.
Introduction
Why did you choose this topic and why do you think it is important? (Half a page or a page)
I choose this topic because I see many unequal ethics between genders, between female and male. I believe that between female and male should be equal evaluation. My idea about history of sexual ethics is that in history we have had many conflict in genders differences and also we have had same problems in science and religion which I can say still we are struggling with that.
Main Body
The main body of your paper should include your main points of argumentation. The body should have separate paragraphs for your supporting points and ideas. Here you should do an overview of existing literature. A concise overview of various author(s) would be a great start. The paper will be significantly strengthened if the authors you have chosen are reputable in the field and not simply marginal names taken out of the Internet. Ideally, you should present various opposing views of authors. For example: Author X states that A=B, but Author Y disagrees, however, author Z presents an entirely new idea to the field etc.
You may view the question you are discussing in light of various religious, geographical, cultural etc. traditions comparing and analyzing them. You are free to write creatively, however, you should remember that a strong research paper refrains from expressing radical, uncompromising and opinionated positions. You should also refrain from using sexist, racist and hostile ideas.
Please refrain from inserting excessive pictures and large sized charts and diagrams (although you may do so if necessary). I am more interested in your reasoning and writing. You should also avoid inserting large portions of direct quotations. Direct quotations should be highlighted either with Italics or with Bold and in quotation marks. You are not allowed to quote a text from a source without mentioning the author and the source title. Please, use your own words and be yourself. Suspiciously advanced and overly sophisticated wording may necessitate asking you to explain a specific portion in question.
Ideally, you should have 2 footnote references per page. Cutting and pasting material from the Internet is prohibited. Using Internet sources is allowed, of course, but please remember that excessive Internet references (address line, link references instead of an actual book) do not add prestige to the paper.
Conclusion (Half a page to a page)
Finally, in conclusion, you may state your own opinion and that you find author X’s view more reasonable and explain why? Explain why you disagree with the view Y?
