Here, the authors used the job of a financial analyst to demonstrate the concept of “triangulation” in data collection for a job analysis. Imagine that you have been hired as an I/O psychologist to conduct a job analysis for the position of a high school guidance counselor.
Search KU university Library and evaluate a minimum of one primary and two secondary resources related to conducting a job analysis. Identify how you would approach this analysis, including specific methods you would use. Discuss strengths and weaknesses of each method. Identify the KSAOs you think would be relevant to a high school guidance counselor.
