A good book review should contain the following components: A short descriptive summary of the book, its focus, and purpose. A critical analysis of what you believe are its strengths and weaknesses. For example, does the author focus too much on one factor or area over another? Are the chapters well- organized, or do you constantly have to be flipping between pages to keep up? Is the language the author uses accessible and easy to understand? A written commentary recommending to others why they should or should not read the book. You cannot simply say yes or no, you need to be able to back it up with solid reasoning. Saying something like, “I did not like the book and I do not recommend it,” is not enough to earn a solid grade on this assignment
