As we look at the recent events in Romania’s we could use a bit of background information about events/people that contributed, even indirectly to the current situation. I would like to you to:

2. Write a brief summary of your findings (400 words minimum). The film provides some details that are sometimes trivial (so that it be more entertaining). Try to capture the essence of his impact of Romania’s history in terms of policy (what kind of measures did he take, and what were their consequences) rather than to write about his passion for hunting, for instance. When you talk to people who don’t know anything about him, you will say “Ceausescu ran Romania for 25 years, and did x and y and z” , rather than “He had diabetes.”
