EPS(electric power steering)is an important car parts to improve fuel consumption. World top 5 EPS are JTEKT(Japan, inventor of EPS) }, NSK(Japan), TRW(USA), ZF Lenksysteme(German) and Nexteer(USA). In2011, Nexteer was merged and 51% owned by a Chinese company which controlled by the Chinese state-owned aerospace company Aviation Industry Corporation of China. In Dec.2012, NIDEC(Japan) merged 51% of Jiangsu Kaiyu Auto Electric Co., Ltd(China), which manufactured brush DC electric motor for EPS with 1bil.yen,and changed company name to NIDEC Kaiyu Auto Electric(Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.
