You may already have favorite online resources and databases that you use or have found useful in the past. As you begin your program of study, you will identify many resources you may rely on for current peer-reviewed information.

For this Assignment, review your Learning Resources, then research and locate one peer-reviewed article in the Walden Library. These may include resources identified in this course through the Walden Library, as well as those not mentioned in this course.

The topic of your article should be an issue that is important to you and related to your health field. It should be different from the topic you chose for your initial posting to the Week 2 Discussion.

PART B

Culture and Policy Development

Is it possible for a health policy to fail due to cultural factors? How important is it for the community to get involved with the decision-making process during policy development? After reading your Learning Resources this week, you will recognize the significance in cultural awareness and health policy development. For this Assignment, you consider community engagement in policy development.

To prepare for this Assignment, complete the readings and view the media in your Learning Resources. Consider the importance of beliefs and behaviors when developing health policies.

The Assignment (3 pages):

• Explain the importance of culturally appropriate health policies.
• Explain how one can develop a policy so that it gets the support of the community.
• Explain how you might engage the community to be part of the voice when developing a policy.
• Expand on your insights utilizing the Learning Resources.

Use APA formatting for your Assignment and to cite your resources.

Use MS Word to complete “Questions to be Graded: Exercises 29 and 35” in Statistics for Nursing Research: A Workbook for Evidence-Based Practice. Submit your work in SPSS by copying the output and pasting into the Word document. In addition to the SPSS output, please include explanations of the results where appropriate.

Assignment 3: Presentation: “Biggest Challenges Facing Organizations in the Next 20 Years”

Due Week 5 and worth 250 points

In this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation that outlines what you believe will be the biggest challenges facing organizations in the next twenty (20) years.

Faculty Note: For students taking this course online, if there is a hardship for any student in being able to secure a microphone to complete this assignment, the student is allowed to use the notes section of PowerPoint to write a narrative of what they would say if actually presenting / narrating.

Write an eight (8) slide presentation in which you:

1. Provide a title slide (as indicated in the format requirements below) followed by a slide with an introduction to your presentation.
2. Presentation should include your choice of the five (5) challenges you believe organizations will face in the next twenty (20) years. Only include one (1) challenge and your explanation for choosing that challenge per slide for a total of five (5) slides.
3. Provide one (1) summary slide which addresses key points of your paper.
4. Narrate each slide, using a microphone, indicating what you would say if you were actually presenting in front of an audience.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

• Format the PowerPoint presentation with headings on each slide and three to four (3-4) relevant graphics (photographs, graphs, clip art, etc.), ensuring that the presentation is visually appealing and readable from 18 feet away. Check with your professor for any additional instructions. 
• Include a title slide containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date.
