During your study in the course you have learnt about Big Data as an all-inclusive term that refer to extremely large, very fast, highly diverse and complex data. You have also learned that it include all kinds of data.
In this regard, you are asked to do some research on Big Data, and write a short report that answers the following points (30 marks):
- What is Big Data, and how is it created?
- What are the characteristics of Big Data, and how is it different compared tonormal data?
- What are the challenges when dealing with Big Data?
- Explain the three major types of Big Data applications, and give one example foreach of them.
- Discuss how Big Data can help in fighting against Corona virus.
At the end, write a conclusion that reflect your own understanding of the importance of Big Data and the effect that it has on our lives today (20 marks).
